Pool ladder is one of the most essential things to consider when having a swimming pool. It is the swimmer's passes to get in and out of the water. Both inground and above ground pools need pool ladders. Without it, it will be unsafe to go in the pool. Pool ladders are not just simple ladders, there's more about it. Let's know pool ladders better.
- Pool ladders should not be painted. Though color is not that important, some consumers want to have a pool ladder that will match the color of the pool area. In this regard, remember that you can only choose among the colors, the natural colors that the manufacturer offers. Painting the ladders will make it slippery. Most pool ladders have their anti-slippery/skid feature that can be affected if you will paint it. If customization is available from the manufacturer that you have chosen, you can tell them the color that you want. But if not, NEVER paint it.
- Inground pool's ladder commonly has 1-5 steps, depending on the depth of the swimming pool while above ground pool's ladder is usually 2-4 steps. Always make sure that the pool ladder's size is compatible to your pool.
- Concrete pools require the ladder and steps to be formed as the installation of the swimming pool is on going while in fiberglass or liner swimming pool, securing the lower and upper ends of the pool ladder is needed.
- Pool ladders are not that costly. It is just needed to secure safety of your family and friends, especially the children who cannot get out of the water on the pool side.
